Everyone loves Peru and no-one knows why.
Actually, I suppose they do; they’re plucky and have a timeless and wonderful strip.
So far, manufacturers seldom get the Peru kit wrong, so I thought I’d have a go at ruining it.
It’s a shame that Peru are no longer with Umbro – these days they’re with Marathon – but that didn’t really get in the way of my design. Have a look…
The famous red sash is made from a series of pine trees, while the white section is largely plain white, albeit with very faint mountains dotted around.
Why? The Andes.
The Andes are in a lot of South American countries, but for some reason, I just feel like they’re particularly Peruvian.
